Police on Long Island are asking the public for help identifying and locating a woman who allegedly stole a wallet from a bakery countertop.

The incident took place in Patchogue on Sunday, Sept. 3 at the Familia Bakery at 227 East Main St.

According to Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police, the woman took the wallet that was on a countertop at the bakery.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.
